We are still in orange county but we have a new website. Check out all the new stuff at http://www.abrentisartphotography.com/
So it’s been a while since I have posted anything to the blog but i have definitely been busy. Lots of family shoots, a weeding in Ukraine and some model shoots. Anyways, I am working on a new website but in the mean time check me out on facebook for the most recent shoots. Thanks

I have had this idea for quite some time now. I guess you can say it’s a take on the “Trash the dress” genre. But instead of trashing the dress I would take fashion photos with a married couple dressed in their wedding attire. My good friend’s Tyler and Sherrie were totally up for it. It had been raining all week, which was good because Sherrie wanted to take pictures in the rain. Bad news for us, it stopped raining the day we did the shoot. So I found the best photoshop rain tutorial I could and improvised (sorry if it looks fake). In a small window of time, with no rain, I think we came out with some pretty cool shots. Happily Wedded After you guys
Right before Christmas I got to take family photos for our really good friends the Bolands (unfortunately, the crazy chaos that is the catalog business has kept me from writing this post until now). It’s always great getting to see them and we had a fun time exploring the Wheeler Library. From the Boland’s: Merry Christmas and Happy new Year!
A couple of weeks ago I got to take family photos for our good friends the Brocks. It’s always an adventure hanging out with them and this time was no exception. With a few amazing and eclectic backdrops and a little model in the making (of course I am talking about the adorable Ava, sorry John, you’re good, but she’s just better), we were set up for some awesome photos. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did. Thanks guys!
Last weekend I had the pleasure of taking family photos of some super close friends for the second year in a row. They are so laid back and fun, and their daughter is just so naturally adorable that it made my job easy. This year we headed over to beautiful Woodbury for a rustic Holiday shoot (side note, Woodbury is quite possible one of my favorite picture spots). I hope you enjoy this family as much as I do! Merry Christmas from the Gilmore’s!
This was the first time I had met the Dever Family and they were super awesome nice people. Big thanks go to the Brock’s for the connection. It had been raining all morning but luckily we caught a break and had the perfect window of no rain to take these photos. Thanks for your time and opening your amazing house to take photos at. Merry Christmas!!!
A couple of weeks ago I had the absolute pleasure of meeting up with and taking pictures for some super close friends. With a gorgeous “hidden treasure” of a setting… (can anyone guess where we were shooting?) and 3 of the most photogenic and cooperative kids I have worked with, all the elements were right for amazing photos. Greg and Chantal, thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to photograph your family. I had so much fun and can’t wait to see you guys again soon!
Last weekend Justin and I geared up and headed down to old town Orange to meet up with some old friends. It has been years since I have seen Alissa and Mark and we had a great time taking photos and re-connecting. Their girls are absolutely amazing… Fun, energetic and total hams for the camera. To the Fords, I just want to say that you guys have a beautiful family and I am so glad that seeing each other was more than just taking photos.
